4 tablespoons of virgin olive oil
1 small chopped yellow onion
2 thinly sliced garlic cloves
1 small red chili (seeded and sliced)
6 chopped anchovy fillets
1 can of crushed tomatoes
1 tbsp of oregano
100 g peeled black olives
1 tbsp capers
400 g of spaghetti
Instructions:
- Heat the olive oil in a large pot and add the onion, garlic and chilli. Fry gently for about 6 minutes until the onion is soft.
- Add the anchovy fillets and stir-fry until all the ingredients are mixed.
- Add tomato paste, oregano, olives and capers. Bring to a boil and reduce heat.
- Season with salt and pepper and let the sauce boil slowly.
- Cook pasta in salted water until al dente.
- Drain the pasta and mix it into the sauce.
- Serve immediately and enjoy!
